WHEAT BASED NUTRITION PROGRAMME (WBNP)
This Scheme is implemented by the Department of Women & Child Development, M/o Human Resource Development. The foodgrains allotted under this Scheme are utilized by the States/UTs under Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) for providing nutritious/ energy food to children below 6 years of age and expectant /lactating women.
Allocation/offtake of foodgrains under the scheme during 2001-2002, 2002-03, 2003-04, 2004-05 & 2005-06 is as under: -
