A. STORAGE
- General problems of storage and Inspection of foodgrains.
- Country's food policy and different methods of procurements and distribution of foodgrains.
- Sources and detection of infestation in stored foodgrains.
- Causes, types and extent of deterioration of storage of foodgrains and methods to check them.
- Traditional and modern methods of bag and bulk storage.
- Insect pests of stored grain and milled products - their identification, biology, nature and damage and detection.
- Chemical and non-chemical and integrated methods of controlling stored grain insect pests.
- Vertebrate pests and their control.
- Toxic contamination in foodgrain, their ill-effects and estimation.
